Armando Rosales           Studio Owner		Armando Rosales has been playing, performing, composing, producing and recording music for many years. Armando starting playing the guitar at the age of 8 and got 'real' serious about playing music around the age of 14. By the end of High School he started building a recording studio in the basement of his house. At first it didn't look like much but with a few pieces of gear and a 4 track reel to reel, Armando started recording his band and personal projects.       This was back in 1981. Through the years the studio grew. Using his carpentry skills, Armando began making AfterDark into a truly professional recording studio and eventually felt competent is his abilities and that of AfterDark to open his door to 'paying' clients. Thus he began recording professionally.
At the moment, Armando is the sole engineer at AfterDark. In the past there has been several engineers working at AfterDark. Two of them, in particular Sookie Nasmyth and Sven Holcomb were around for many years but unfortunately for AfterDark they both moved to Southern California to pursue their careers. It's hard to find good, trustworthy engineers but hopefully in the future there will be new engineers working at AfterDark. So for now, Armando does it all. Along with running his production company, ALG Productions and taking care of his two young children, Armando keeps pretty busy.
