ALG Productions is a all in house production company
ran out of AfterDark Recording. We offer top notch production in Pop, R&B and Latin music.
We're not only talking about production but
all facets of a song's development from the writing, arrangement, MIDI sequencing, live
instrumentation, tracking, post production, mixing and mastering. We have had some of our
production released through Warner Brothers and various independent record labels.
We are also currently a member of TAXI, a independent A&R company that gives us a venue to help place
original material and artists.
ALG Productions operates in two ways. First, as a pay for hire
production company we can offer to Record labels high quality original material and 'ready to press'
production and for unsigned artists who are in need of original 'ready for Major Label' material that they can
shop to record companies. Many production companies do not have the access to a fully professional recording
studio so the client also has to figure in the cost of taking the production to a studio to have it
recorded and mixed whereas with ALG Productions we have our own studio so we are a one shop alternative.
Secondly, we ocassionaly produce artists on spec. On spec means we cover all writing, production and recording
costs as an investment in the artist's future. We then try to get artist
signed to a recording deal in order to recoup investment. We do this when we come across a artist we feel
has exceptional talent and marketablility.
